An Investigation of Diabetes Mellitus and Vitamin D Deficiency in Patients Presented to Internal Medicine Outpatient Clinic

Introduction: Vitamin D deficiency plays a role also in the occurrence of autoimmune diseases, including heart disease, cancer, inflammatory bowel diabetes, and rheumatological diseases. In addition, vitamin B12 deficiency, one can be seen cases deficiency. Furthermore, is associated with insulin secretion increased sensitivity target cells, relevant studies reported at initial stage diabetes mellitus (DM). Accordingly, present study aimed to investigate relationship between D, DM, B12, ferritin patients presented internal medicine outpatient clinic. Materials Methods: The data from adults aged 18 years over, who Internal Medicine Outpatient Clinic Mersin City Training Research Hospital 01 June 2021 31 December were retrospectively investigated.
